India reached the finish line in just 7.1 overs while chasing 65, losing only two wickets. Earlier, India held Bangladesh to 64/8 after Vaishanvi Sharma claimed three wickets. India chose to bowl first and continued to exert pressure on Bangladesh by taking wickets frequently. Vaishnavi claimed three wickets for India, while Shabnam Shakil, Joshitha V J, and Gongadi Trisha each claimed one. Sumaiya Akther, the captain of Bangladesh, scored 21 runs, the most of any player.
